Expenses, simplified.
You're in the back of a taxi on the way home from a work dinner. Exhausted and jetlagged, you realize you need to expense your meal. You email the receipt to the expenses agent by the time you’re back at your hotel, the expense is created and auto-submitted.
My role
Product Manager & UX Designer
I framed the product strategy, designed the reusable email components and conversational flow, and created the visual language from scratch.

Designed from scratch
A new workflow needed its own visual language.
The design began with a simple premise: the agent should feel helpful without pretending to be human. I built the patterns, hierarchy, and moments of feedback that make each request feel clear and actionable.
The result is a flexible email flow that handles missing details, policy context, and thoughtful handoffs back to the application when an employee needs more control.
Designing for clarity
Every email had to make the next move obvious.
I built a reusable email template that tells the user what needs attention, why it matters, and the specific information required to keep an expense moving without sending them back into a complicated platform.

Guided resolution
Bulk work still needed to feel personal.
The supporting states show how the system handles larger sets of expenses and specific requests for information, giving people a clear, structured way to respond and move work forward.

What changed
Less form-filling. More forward motion.
By bringing completion into an employee’s existing email workflow, the agent reduces manual entry, guides missing information, and gives people a clearer route to a finished expense report.
